Come welcome the American Indian Peace Riders who are leaving next week on horseback and the bridgewalkers who are traveling from across North America. They will arrive on June 17 to pray at their sacred place where the Mississippi and Minnesota Rivers meet called Bdote (bdoh-tay) which means "the gathering place" and cross the Mendota Bridge on June 19 approximately 2:30 PM.
Come hear from indigenous elders share their wisdom, their concern for the environment and the need for healing between people. Schedule

A century and a half ago, the official state policy was to either evict the Dakota from the state of Minnesota or to exterminate. Help bring healing by welcoming them back to their sacred place and get to know members of the Lakota/Dakota/Nakota community.
