My family is packing and preparing to attend 2012 World Peace and Prayer Day. How quickly a year has passed since the event was hosted here in Minnesota! We'll drive through the night Friday, starting from the WPPD 2011 Peace Pole site at Bdote to arrive at Bear Lodge Mountain (Devils Tower) by 10 AM on Saturday to meet up with Chief Arvol Looking Horse and the caravan. After a day of activities and ceremony, the caravan will leave early Sunday for Medicine Wheel. The on Monday we will finish the travel to the formal WPPD site at Grand Teton National Park in Wyoming USA. Assuming that I have internet connections, I will be posting highlights and photos again this year.
