First Person Stories
Here's a link to the Aaron Huey project that allows Lakota people to tell their stories in their own words.
This month I've enjoyed the opportunity to hear several Dakota sharing about their family experience, their challenges, their celebrations. Several colleges have been hosting the Dakota 38 movie and the dialogue afterwards has been thought-provoking. The St Paul Interfaith Network in collaboration with many civic organizations and places of worship has been hosting a fall series... It's a gift when someone chooses to share their story. I hope you have opportunities to be quiet and listen to someone, really listen to someone this week.
