I was reminded today that sometimes people are "dealt a hand" that they clearly did not want...yet I saw another glowing example that challenged me to choose joy anyway the next time I don't like the circumstance. It was a great reminder and really put things back in perspective. Even if the next set of cards I'm handed aren't great (or even horrible!) and it seems there's not much to smile or be happy about, I was challenged today to choose to look past the bad cards to the real hand that's actually holding the cards. And smile anyway.
