Because the Red Rock - "Inyan Sha" is the subject of an ongoing dialogue process, between the Dakota Oyate Traditional Spiritual Elders and the United Methodist Church and many other government entities, I will not be providing any personal reflections.
I will however provide links to public statements made by parties and to news coverage as it occurs.
As with any issues related to sacred sites and the right to pray where there are conflicting views and traditions, I encourage you to reflect on your potential role to help bring parties together and create dialogue. And as always, please pray for those who are in conflict that they might have wisdom and insight throughout the mediation process, and that together the parties will forge paths that lead to peaceful resolution and hopefully future relationships.
